Taste the Adventure

You’ll start the walk armed with local bottled spring water to keep you hydrated. There will be plenty of refill stations along the way.

Embark on a scenic walk designed to delight your palate, whist enjoying the beauty of Ludlow’s countryside. Whether you find yourself perched on a bench in the ancient Mortimer forest, or nestled in a lush, grassy meadow, we will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the menu. This includes cutlery, plates, bowls, and napkins.


Here's what awaits you on this year's flavourful expedition...

Start: Set off from the Ludlow Brewery with Two Farmers Crisps to enjoy on the first leg of the walk, together with a bottle of Radnor Hills Mineral Water.

Stop 1: Take a break to enjoy a scotch egg craftly produced by Handmade Scotch Egg Company, served with a glass of Fletcher's Cider to wash it down.

Stop 2: Prepare for a succulent hot dish of slow roasted Welsh Black Beef in a soft white roll, or Vegetable Stew served with a soft while roll, prepared and cooked for you by Nixon Farms accompanied with a flavoursome local brew from Hobsons Brewery.

Stop 3: Indulge in a sweet delectable chocolate brownie created by Peter Cooks Bread, served with a scoop of Laura's Delicious Ice Cream - enhanced by a beautifully crafted cocktail by Ludlow Distillery and Radnor Hills Heartease.

Finish: Conclude your exploration with a sophisticated cheese course prepared for you by Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre - Moyden's Wrekin Blue, Dairy Door's St Barties,  Appleby’s Cheddar served with Peter's Yard Sourdough Crackers, Appleby's Farmhouse Butter and homemade apple chutney from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre orchard all paired with a refreshing local brew produced by Ludlow Brewery.

At every stop, for those not participating in alcoholic beverages, there’s a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available, ensuring there's something for everyone.
